My stay at Malaika Beach Resort was truly delightful. The grounds were beautifully landscaped, offering spectacular views of Lake Victoria. The food was remarkable, particularly the freshly grilled fish we had sourced from local fishermen. The spacious room provided a comfortable haven, and the bathroom featured a large soaking tub that was a treat.

The pool area had a few insects.

The takeaway Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches were a highlight, and the stunning view of the lake from my room made mornings magical. The pool area was well-maintained and perfect for chilling out after a long day of exploring.

Had a bit of a run-in with security, feeling like they didn’t approve of a mixed-race couple walking around the gardens. Still, we brushed it off and enjoyed every moment amongst the greenery and vibrant birds.

Oh my goodness, the Belgian waffles here are an absolute game changer! Paired with fresh fruits, they turned breakfast into a delightful culinary adventure. The infinity pool overlooking Lake Victoria? Just breathtaking! And the cozy Executive Suite made lounging feel like a dream.

Now, those foam pillows were a bit of a battle, and I wished the water had been warmer. A couple of light fixtures were out, and the music at night could really crank it up.

From the moment we arrived, Ally was such a chommie, sorted us out with a low room for mom and killer views for the rest of us. The food was a total highlight, every meal proper delicious! Great vibes for the whole family, like the pool and lakeside chill spot. Definitely a place to kick back and relax!

Just a heads up, the jetty was under repair, so no boat trips while we were there, which was a bit of a bummer.

We loved the spacious room with a killer view of Lake Victoria. The kids enjoyed the water park, and the food was truly top-notch. Don't miss Rock Beach Garden if you're looking for something fun and relaxing nearby. Staying with my family made it even better!

My wife says that the pool bar service was quite slow.
