I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, especially considering the usual compactness of rooms in Japan. The staff were incredibly welcoming, patient, and friendly. The futon beds were comfortable and the room had a cute tea set, as well as snacks available in both the room and the lobby. The hotel also had multiple onsen baths, including private ones, which were a great way to relax. The best part was waking up to the amazing view of Mt. Fuji directly from my room, as well as from the onsen and rooftop. Additionally, the hotel was located in a quiet area but had convenient access to nearby restaurants and shops.

The onsen offers stunning views of Mt. Fuji and comfortable traditional futon bedding. The staff are friendly and flexible with check-in requirements. There is a private spa session available for an extra price, and three included public spas, including one with a Mt. Fuji view. The hotel also has an ice cream vending machine and a selection of cold beers. For those interested, there is a tea organized in the main area with traditional cookies and non-alcoholic drinks.

Felt right at home, nothing was too much trouble.

I had an amazing experience at Oike Hotel. the staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the hotel itself was clean and well-maintained. We were lucky enough to have a room with a view of Mount Fuji, which was absolutely breathtaking. the outdoor bath was like something out of a dream, and the tranquility of the surroundings made for a truly relaxing stay. I appreciated the daily tea, juice, and snacks served at the lobby, and the convenient shuttle service to Kawaguchiko station was a great perk. this was one of my favorite stays in Japan.

What an amazing trip! the view from the room was breathtaking. the location was fantastic, close to all the key spots we wanted to visit. the room was well equipped with all the necessary amenities and two complimentary drinks every day. the breakfast was delicious and offered amazing Japanese cuisine.

I wish there was better communication between the staff. We were not informed about pick-up arrangements in advance and had to wait for a long time.

I picked a small non-traditional room at Oike Hotel because the traditional rooms with views were too expensive for me, but to my surprise, the room was absolutely amazing. It exceeded my expectations based on the pictures I saw. The hotel is conveniently located near the lake, and there is a free shuttle that takes you to the train station. The indoor onsen at Oike Hotel offers breathtaking views of Mount Fuji, especially during the day. The outdoor onsen was also a delightful experience. The staff at the hotel were incredibly attentive and welcoming. They made sure to acknowledge my arrival and had my keys ready when I entered. Just a word of caution, there aren't many dining options in the vicinity of the lake, so it's better to have dinner at the train station or book a reservation at the hotel itself. I highly recommend Oike Hotel for an unforgettable stay in Fujikawaguchiko.

We had a great stay here! This place is in a very quiet neighborhood, so it was nice and peaceful. The staff at the reception desk were super helpful and informative about all the facilities. The onsen in the Japanese garden was beautiful and gave us an authentic experience. There were also lots of shops and services nearby, so we didn't have to travel far to get what we needed. Plus, having a laundry room was definitely a plus!

The hotel is located in a very quiet neighborhood, making it a peaceful place to stay. It is also conveniently situated not far from a bus stop, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. Despite the uncomfortable buses, we were lucky to have a couple of clear days during our stay, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful view of the mountain.

The hotel lacked a personal touch from the staff, and we didn't receive much empathy when facing issues, such as weak wifi.

The hotel is located in a beautiful area, very close to the lake and surrounded by a Japanese garden. Some guests were lucky enough to have a couple of clear days in which the magnificent Mount Fuji was visible from the hotel. The rooms were clean and the service provided by the friendly staff was commendable. Additionally, the hotel offered a public bath with a stunning view of Mount Fuji and a private outdoor hot spring bath.

Some guests mentioned that the ventilation in the rooms could be improved.

I recently stayed at a hotel near the lake for a couple of nights. The location was perfect, close to the lake and within walking distance of the train station and shops. The outdoor onsen were a highlight, offering a nice and relaxing experience. The facilities were great, with a bath on the 5th floor providing stunning views of Mt. Fuji and a fantastic bath on the ground floor. The rooms were also well-appointed, and waking up to a full view of Fuji-san was a treat. The hotel staff were incredibly kind and helpful, providing exceptional service throughout our stay. I would definitely stay here again for the peaceful atmosphere and convenient location.
