I had a fantastic stay at a hotel nestled amongst the trees and next to a lovely river. The setting was wonderful and relaxing, with a huge garden filled with majestic trees. The hotel offered spotlessly clean rooms with beautiful interiors and comfy beds. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The restaurant served excellent food, and the breakfast had a wide variety of options, including self-made jam. The hotel also had a nice curio shop and a pool surrounded by beautiful trees filled with monkeys and birds. The location was perfect, as it was only about 25 minutes from Kilimanjaro Airport, making it a great place to spend your last day in a relaxing and cool atmosphere, or your first night if you arrive with an evening plane.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was very nice and comfortable, with a rejuvenating bathtub. The hotel's location next to the river was incredible, providing a tranquil environment to relax in. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options and the staff were amazing, always helpful and kind.

Not one thing.

This is our second time here. The grounds are beautiful- surrounded by gorgeous trees and wildlife. Food was excellent- by far the best burger and pizza we have found in Arusha. Staff were very pleasant too. For us, the best part was sitting out with a glass of wine by the fire pit for the night! We will be back again!

I had a pleasant experience and would recommend this hotel for a peaceful getaway.

During our stay at Rivertrees Country Inn, we were blown away by the exceptional service and attention to detail. From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us like royalty, offering warm hand towels and taking our luggage to our beautifully appointed room. The property itself was breathtaking, with lush gardens and even colobus monkeys swinging overhead. The food at the inn was fantastic, especially the Swahili plate and Zanzibari curry, and the pizzas were the best we had in Arusha. Despite the cost, the brilliant service and stunning rooms made it well worth it. I highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable experience.

Restrictions: The pool water was cloudy and green, and unfortunately, the staff's efforts to maintain it didn't seem to be working effectively. Despite these drawbacks, I still had a wonderful overall experience at Rivertrees Country Inn.

Amazing Wildlife Encounters

During my stay at Rivertrees, I had the incredible opportunity to witness vervet monkeys playing around in the real light. I even spotted blue monkeys on the grounds too! As a wildlife enthusiast, being able to practice my safari photography right at the hotel was a dream come true. The staff were friendly and engaging, always willing to share their stories. The grounds were immaculate and the food was great. an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this hotel for wildlife lovers. The lush gardens surrounding this hotel were stunning and very well-maintained - with the massive trees providing such beautiful shade and the perfect habitat for the local Colobus and Sykes monkeys, which we saw plenty of. The landscaping was gorgeous and green, creating a tranquil atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive to our needs, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The rooms were quiet and romantically decorated with a four-poster bed and antique furniture, adding a touch of elegance to our experience. this hotel provided a great value for the price we paid, and we were able to enjoy a relaxing stay surrounded by nature.
