The location of this hotel is fantastic - just a short walk to the beach and the bustling market. The rooms are beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. The bed and pillows are incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The staff is incredibly helpful and welcoming. The rooftop bar offers breathtaking views and the restaurant serves delicious food.

There is no separation or door between the toilet and the bedroom, which can be a bit uncomfortable for some guests.

I had a wonderful stay at Upendo House. The staff was friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. The rooftop pool had a stunning view of the city and ocean, perfect for cooling off. The room was stylish and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel.

Upendo House is a true gem! Warm and helpful staff, tasteful decor, extremely comfortable bed, and a stunning rooftop infinity pool with city and ocean views. Best food in Stone Town, with excellent service. A central location for exploring. Highly recommendable!

As a business traveler, I loved the modern and contemporary minimalist style of Upendo House. The rooftop bar with its breathtaking view of the sea and delicious cocktails were the highlights. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect for sightseeing and being close to the sea. The restaurant and pool on the roof were also excellent, providing a great ambiance with an enjoyable soundtrack.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Stone Town and it was an amazing experience. the rooftop pool was absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking views of the town. It was the perfect spot to relax and take in the surroundings. The staff at this hotel were exceptional, always going above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Secondly, the breakfast provided was top-notch. With a menu offering a variety of options, it exceeded my expectations and was better than what I've had at many five-star resorts. Lastly, the attention to detail in the rooms was impressive. The high-quality bedsheets and clean, fresh atmosphere made for a comfortable and cozy stay.

Despite the wonderful experience, I believe the hotel could benefit from adding some shade near the pool during the daytime.

The hotel had a decent location near the night food market which was great for exploring. The complimentary drinks and snacks in the room were a nice touch. We also enjoyed the view from the rooftop bar and the fact that it stayed open late.

The breakfast service was incredibly slow and disorganized. Our order took forever to arrive, even though we were one of the few tables dining.
