We stayed at a hotel during Christmas, and there were some positive aspects. the rooms were clean and had hot water. the hotel had a good-sized pool and was right on the beach. the location was good as we could easily take a tuk-tuk to nearby shops and restaurants.

There were some negative aspects. the hotel was quite basic and lacked amenities.
