The location of the hotel is great, as it is close to both the local pier and another pier. This makes it convenient for exploring the island and taking boat trips. The hotel also offers a stunning view of the sea, which adds to the overall experience. Additionally, the rooms are comfortable and have all the necessary amenities, including a well-equipped bathroom.

The staff at the hotel could be more proficient in English, as it can be difficult to communicate and get things done efficiently.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and attentive, always quick to assist with any questions or transportation needs. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with spacious and clean rooms offering a nice view. Location-wise, it was situated right in front of the sea, allowing for a beautiful and serene atmosphere. Additionally, the breakfast served was made with love and there were plenty of options to choose from.

The staff at Baan Taranya Koh Yao Yai - Sha Extra Plus went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. One night, our 11-month-old son fell ill and they immediately drove us to the nearest doctor and even paid for the medicine. Their helpfulness and kindness really made a difference. The authentic Thai food and cocktails were also delicious, especially the Tom Yum cocktail and Laab Moo minced pork dish. Despite the small pool and humble-sized bungalows, the hotel was clean, quiet, and offered great value for money. The island itself was a hidden gem, providing a peaceful oasis away from the chaos of the mainland. We were able to hire a moped and explore the friendly local community. I highly recommend this hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel in Koh Yao Yai. The rooms were spacious, well-designed, and provided enhanced comfort. The staff were extremely friendly and always ready to help. One of the highlights was the beautiful pool that ran the length of the hotel, offering a refreshing swim right from your ground floor room. The beachfront bar and restaurant provided a perfect setting to enjoy delicious meals and drinks. Additionally, the hotel offered free bikes, allowing me to explore the island and discover its hidden treasures. The location of this place was ideal, as it provided a peaceful and less touristy atmosphere, with friendly locals and stunning views.

This place is highly recommended for families as well.

We had a fantastic time at Baan Taranya! The hotel is perfectly located right in front of a beautiful beach, allowing us to enjoy stunning views throughout our stay. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience memorable, especially Deng, Wee, and Gem who made us feel at home. The authentic Thai food and cocktails served at the restaurant were delicious, and we highly recommend trying the Tom Yum cocktail and the Laab Moo minced pork main. Despite the humbly sized bungalows, our room was clean and comfortable. The pool, although small, provided a refreshing escape. The island itself is a hidden gem, offering a peaceful oasis away from the chaos of the mainland. We loved exploring the island on a moped and encountering friendly locals along the way.

The hotel grounds were beautiful and well-maintained, with a stunning swimming pool and great terraces where we enjoyed breakfast. We also appreciated the option to rent motorcycles and bikes to explore the surrounding area. the beds were spacious and comfortable, and it was great to have drinks and food available in the bedrooms.

The language barrier with some of the staff made it difficult to get clear information about the surrounding area and activities. the beach in front of the hotel was quite narrow and crowded with traffic due to the nearby pier.

The value for money at this hotel was excellent. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The location was great, right by the beach and with easy access to motorbike rentals for exploring the island. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this resort! the beach was absolutely beautiful with its white sand and clear waters. We loved exploring the island on the scooters we rented, and the nearby rubber plantations were fascinating to see. the pool at the resort was also a highlight, with its pristine and well-maintained surroundings. Having it mostly to ourselves was an added bonus.

While our overall experience was great, there were a couple of minor downsides. the dirt road next to the resort had a lot of motorcycle traffic, which could be a bit noisy at times.
