One minor drawback is that the immediate surroundings of the hotel aren't the prettiest. However, this is easily overlooked when considering the fantastic location and overall experience offered by the hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at this beachfront hotel in Samui. The room was spacious and had a traditional Thai feel while still being modern. The hotel grounds were beautiful, with mature gardens and trees creating a peaceful atmosphere. The beach and pool area were amazing, perfect for relaxing and swimming.
