The staff at the hotel were incredibly pleasant and helpful, particularly the dining/restaurant and poolside staff, as well as the tour advisors. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and even gave us an abundance of gifts during our New Year stay, including chocolates, biscuits, and Thai whiskey with our evening meal. the pool area was very pleasant, although the water was a bit too cold for swimming. It was still a great place to relax and soak up the sun. - One of the highlights of our stay was the nightly turn-down service, which included a lovely orchid left on our beds. It was a nice touch that made us feel special and well taken care of.

The twin beds in our room were uncomfortable and desperately needed new mattresses. It definitely affected our sleep quality and was a disappointment.

The location of the hotel is perfect, just close enough to everything. With the Night Bazaar 15 minutes away on foot, Tha Pae Gate 30 minutes away, and other transportation available at all times, exploring the city was a breeze. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bathroom was huge, complete with a bath, shower room, and separate toilet. The staff was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The complimentary breakfast had a wide variety of options, and the view from our room was breathtaking.

I did have to search for some negative aspects, but I found that the water from the showers tended to get on the floor a bit.

The old-fashioned turn down service with fresh towels and a rose on the pillow was a lovely touch. The hotel also provided great amenities, including free Wi-Fi, and the location was quiet but still close to the city center. We could easily walk to the night market and the Waroroo Market, which offered the best bargains. Although the pool area was being worked on and unavailable during our stay, we still enjoyed the peacefulness of the hotel without the crowds of shoppers. this place exceeded our expectations, and we can't wait to return.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The location was very convenient, just 10 minutes away from the night market and across the street from the conference center. The room amenities were top-notch, with an in-room safe, mini-bar, and electric kettle. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, offering room service, dry cleaning, and tours/ticket assistance. Plus, the leisure facilities were fantastic, including a sauna, outdoor swimming pool, and massage services.

We had a wonderful celebration during our stay at The Empress Hotel. The staff surprised us with flowers, gifts, and lots of birthday blessings. The atmosphere was positive and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is safe for solo travelers, quiet for couples, and spacious enough for families or groups. The music band in the Owl Lounge was fascinating, playing great music from the 60's to 90's. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet with its large variety. I highly recommend this hotel for its nice rooms and good people.

During my xmas holidays, I had the pleasure of staying at a fancy hotel that had some great complementary details. On top of everything, the breakfast was amazing. the options were abundant and really tasty.

The room wasn't clean as it should have been, and some appliances were in bad condition. the staff was neither friendly nor helpful.
