The location was incredibly central, within walking distance of temples and street markets. The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice bathroom. The wifi worked well. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. They even arranged for my luggage to be transferred to my next hotel without me asking.

after staying at a different hotel in chiang mai, i found makkachiva to be a hidden gem. the location in the old city was perfect for exploring, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. the authentic thai design and artwork throughout the hotel added to the charm and made me feel completely immersed in the culture.
