Unlike the busy Las Vegas hotels, Longstreet Inn & Casino offered a calm atmosphere with a small supermarket and restaurant on site. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. We enjoyed evening entertainment and sipped cocktails while dancing. The spacious rooms boasted views of a lovely pond and had comfortable beds and good showers. The stunning mountain views from the back and beautiful gardens with a lake and ducks made for a delightful sunset-watching experience. It was the perfect location for our visit to Death Valley NP the next day.

The hotel had a quaint decoration and a little store, restaurant, and casino. We enjoyed the live music by Jonny Bird who sang whatever we asked him. Dinner at the restaurant was okay, but the small diner opposite the hotel was a hidden gem where we got a glimpse of everyday life in the region.
