I had the pleasure of staying at Phranakorn-Nornlen, a uniquely decorated and quiet hotel in the center of Bangkok. The antique fusion decorations in the room and throughout the hotel were absolutely fascinating. The staff were polite and accommodating, even going out of their way to assist me when my mother fell ill. The homemade breakfast croissants were absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel for its special ambiance and excellent service.

The bed in my room was quite hard, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably. Additionally, there was a wall painting in the room that was a bit unsettling.

Phranakorn-Nornlen was a delightful oasis during my work trip. The attention to detail in the service and decor created a whimsical and peaceful atmosphere. The location, away from the tourist buzz, allowed for a relaxing stay, yet still within walking distance of major tourist sites. The sheet with directions in Thai for taxi drivers was extremely helpful, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The daily breakfast was delicious, and the social area by the reception was a perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee.

The ferry pier is also just a short walk away, making it convenient to visit the tourist spots. The rooms are well-designed, with attention to detail, and the bathrooms are clean and comfortable. The staff provides excellent service, offering assistance and guidance throughout your stay. The breakfast is delicious, with homemade bread, fresh roti, and a variety of options to choose from. The hotel also has a lovely outdoor area with day beds where you can relax and unwind.

One downside is that the hotel does not have a pool.

the decor, style, and cozy atmosphere of Phranakorn-Nornlen were all delightful. As a family with two kids, we especially loved the family room and its attention to detail in the decorations. The service at this hotel was lacking, with difficulties in arranging airport pick-up and late check-in. the rooms did not live up to the advertisements and were overpriced.
