I recently stayed at a standard hostel that exceeded my expectations. Pillow & Bread provided everything I needed, from luggage storage to lockers and even a kitchen and fridge on each floor. The highlight for me was the rooftop laundry facilities, which were free of charge. This was a huge bonus, as I've often had to pay extra for laundry services at other hostels. The breakfast offered white bread and jam, with impressive toasters and a good supply of free coffee, sugar, and creamer. The hostel was spotless and well-organized, with a relaxing room and laptop table that felt like a garden oasis.

This hostel exceeded my expectations. The location was in a quiet part of town, away from the tourist areas, which allowed for a peaceful stay. The facilities were impressive, with clean shared bathrooms and a great shower. The room was spacious and had powerful AC to keep me cool. The staff provided excellent service, and the communication with the owner was fast and easy. I enjoyed the free toast and jam in the morning, as well as the complimentary coffee and ice throughout the day. The hostel also had a cute pug dog named Thai Omellet, which added to the charm.

The shared toilets could have been cleaner, but it's understandable considering the number of people using them.

Great price for a private room, and the room was spacious and clean. The location was convenient as it was within walking distance to public transportation and shops. The bed was comfortable and the balcony was a nice bonus for drying clothes.

We had a great stay at this cozy hostel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the owner, a woman, was particularly awesome. The common areas were fantastic, with a piano, tables, and even giant Pokémon figures. The rooms were comfortable, with new sheets and towels provided every three days upon request. The location was convenient, with the BTS train station nearby, making it easy to explore Bangkok. We also appreciated the LGBTQA safe space atmosphere and the fact that the staff spoke okay English and were willing to practice Thai with us. The free onsite laundry and community kitchen were also a plus. we highly recommend staying here whenever you're in BKK!

We absolutely loved our stay at this hostel! The room was spacious and comfortable, with both air conditioning and a ceiling fan. The shared bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. The location was ideal, with nearby amenities like 7-11, market, Big C. It was also convenient to reach the BTS Saphan Khwai station and there was a bus stop nearby. The staff were friendly and the hostel had a welcoming atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the suan yom , common areas with a piano and giant Pokémon, and the fantastic views from our room. We will definitely be coming back here every time we visit Bangkok!

No elevator, so it might be a bit inconvenient if you have heavy suitcases. 🚫

The location of the hostel is slightly outside the center, but it is conveniently surrounded by local food options and a 7/11 right at the corner. Guests have praised the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the clean and comfortable dorm rooms. The hostel offers free self-service laundry facilities, and provides amenities such as body wash, shampoo, hairdryer, fridge, and microwave. The beds are reported to be comfortable, and there are curtains for added privacy.

Some guests had an issue with the firmness of the bed and pillows.

loved my stay in bangkok at pillow & bread! such a cozy and homely hostel with friendly staff. the free self-service laundry and delicious toast and coffee in the morning were a great touch. the board games and strong wifi made my stay even better. definitely the perfect value for money!

Dirty washroom, a turn-off.

We loved the well-equipped facilities, including the free washing machines and drinking water. The staff were kind and friendly, allowing us to leave our bags without any charges and even staying after check-out to wait for our bus. The location was great, surrounded by food stalls and near a large supermarket and many restaurants. The young man at the front desk spoke good English and was very helpful.

I recently stayed at a cozy hostel in Bangkok that offered exceptional value for money. The amenities provided were impressive - free towels, shower and bath gels, toilet papers, and even a mini pantry for convenience. There was also a delightful cafe downstairs where I could indulge in delicious Western food. Each guest was allotted a spacious locker to store their valuables securely, ensuring peace of mind. The stable and fast Wi-Fi, along with the privacy provided by the cloth hanging over each bunk bed, made for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and the location was superb, being very close to the famous Chatuchak weekend market.

We had a great stay at a hotel very close to the train station, with affordable restaurants nearby. The convenience of having a Seven Eleven right outside the hotel was a bonus. The small kitchen with a microwave and kettle was a nice touch. The staff were supportive, friendly, and provided us with a warm welcome and kind goodbye. Despite the shared bathroom, we felt comfortable and had privacy. We would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for those who prefer a quieter location away from the center. Plus, the Chatuchak Weekend Market is just one station away!

Felt warm, no reason to complain

We had a fantastic stay at a wonderful hostel that felt just like a home away from home. The room was spacious and the hostel had a fully stocked kitchen and a washing machine that we could use for free. The staff, especially the woman on night duty, were friendly and accommodating. We loved the homely shared areas and the large collection of board games. The surrounding area had a great range of local food options. our stay at Pillow & Bread was perfect and such good value.
