We had an amazing stay at a guesthouse near the Old City temples. The room was spacious and clean, with a nice balcony. The woman managing the property was very friendly and tried her best to help us. The location was perfect, right near all the temples in the Old City. The breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. Despite a few minor inconveniences, overall I would definitely recommend this guesthouse.

I particularly enjoyed the balcony in my room, which provided a lovely space to relax and soak in the atmosphere of this charming area. The location of the hotel is also a major plus, being right next to the main temple in the old city of Chiang Mai. It's a quiet and chilled area, perfect for exploring all the nearby temples and attractions.

The hotel's location was fantastic, as it was central to everything in Old Town. It was just a short walk away from the main sights and close to one of the main temples. Despite being in the heart of the city, it was on a side street, making it quiet and peaceful.

The Suan Dok Gate Guesthouse in Chiang Mai exceeded my expectations with its clean and comfortable rooms, helpful hosts, and great location. The daily supply of new water bottles and clean towels was a nice touch. Ms Deer and Mr Umm were knowledgeable about the city, offering recommendations and assistance whenever needed. The guesthouse's peaceful neighborhood and proximity to temples and restaurants made it an ideal base for exploring Chiang Mai.

We had a fantastic stay at this budget-friendly guesthouse. It is conveniently located near the Sunday night market and is very close to the city center. We loved being able to easily explore the Old City temples and the best sights in the area. The room was comfortable and clean, with a spacious bathroom and great service from the staff. The breakfast provided was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. Plus, the view from our balcony was absolutely stunning.

The noise from our neighbors, but it didn't ruin our overall experience.

the manager and staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my entire stay. They provided recommendations for tours, assisted with laundry, and even helped with phone calls in Thai when needed. the room was exceptionally clean, with a lovely bathroom and a great shower. the air conditioning was strong, ensuring a comfortable stay. I also enjoyed the cute little balcony with a table and chairs. the service, cleanliness, and comfort were top-notch, exceeding even some 4-star hotels I've stayed in. Highly recommended for a convenient and enjoyable stay in Chiang Mai.
