Great place, lovely hosts, local neighborhood atmosphere, clean rooms, use of communal kitchen and seating area, cheap taxis with meters.

We had a delightful stay at this cozy family-run guesthouse managed by a warm and welcoming mother-and-son duo. the whole setting exuded taste and charm, and we felt right at home. the themed rooms, each named after a local fruit, added a unique touch to our stay. the breakfast spread was a treat, with a platter of fresh Southeast Asian fruits alongside the usual breakfast items. the owners, especially Beb, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even surprising us with larger portions of our favorite mango and sticky rice. the location was ideal for exploring the temple heart of the city, with a boat to the downtown area just a 10-minute walk away. If you're looking for a relaxing stay and to experience authentic hospitality, this is the place for you.

My stay at Uncle Loy's was fantastic! I stayed for a week in order to experience the local side of the city. The owner and her son were incredibly helpful, sharing insider tips and even taking me to the floating market to find great deals. The location is perfect for immersing yourself in local life, away from the tourist crowds. The free breakfast was a nice touch, and the room was clean and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable, even helping with my bags and taxi issues. I would definitely come back!

Totally recommend this hotel.
