The Basileus Hotel in Istanbul was a perfect location for exploring the city's historical sites. The Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Topkapi Palace were all within walking distance, making it very convenient for us as vegetarians and vegans. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing recommendations for vegetarian and vegan restaurants in the area. We also appreciated the complimentary tea/coffee and cake in the afternoon, a lovely touch. The breakfast served at the hotel was delicious and offered a variety of options for us. Basileus Hotel provided a welcoming and inviting atmosphere, and we had a comfortable stay at a great price.

The room was very nice and had two comfortable lounge chairs to relax in. The staff were friendly and helpful with advice. The location was excellent, close to Blue Mosque and many great Turkish restaurants. The breakfast spread was great, especially the lentil lofte.

We arrived after a long flight to a rainstorm, but the staff made us eggs and coffee, which was exactly what we needed. The front desk staff at Basileus were incredibly helpful. When I lost my luggage, they went above and beyond to help me locate it and even arranged for it to be delivered to the hotel earlier than expected. They also provided assistance when my friend had eye problems, going so far as to accompany her to the pharmacy and brewing special tea for her. The level of service was outstanding and made our stay truly memorable. I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional service and attentiveness to guests' needs.

Great location and knowledgeable staff. The check-in was smooth and quick. The staff, especially Selim, was helpful in finding us a suitable room. The room was decent in size for three people. Although there were some issues with the Wi-Fi and TV, we didn't mind as we were mostly out sightseeing. The shower took some getting used to, but eventually, we adjusted. The breakfast provided by the kitchen staff was good. I would recommend this hotel for its location and helpful staff.
