Located in the heart of the city, this hotel provides easy access to public transportation and is surrounded by a bustling center. It offers a peaceful retreat from the busy streets, being nestled away in a quiet area but still within close proximity to the main boulevard. Guests can enjoy exploring the nearby Kizilay district, with its abundance of bars, restaurants, and shops. The hotel also provides a variety of facilities, including free wifi and accommodating front desk clerks.

Some guests have reported issues with the room and bathroom being too small and dated.

During my Christmas stay, I was impressed by the spacious and comfortable rooms offered by the hotel. the rooms were well-appointed with necessary amenities and even had a reading corner or coffee area which added a nice touch. the hotel's key location, just a short walk away from the city center, was a major advantage. It provided easy access to shops, malls, and various eateries, making it convenient for exploration and dining.

the walls in the rooms were quite thin, which resulted in noise from the neighboring rooms being easily audible. This lack of soundproofing was a disappointment.

I had a wonderful stay at Gurkent Hotel. the staff, especially Mr Serdar at the front desk, were incredibly helpful and accommodating. the location was fantastic, with easy access to shopping, restaurants, and banks. the rooms were clean and comfortable, with adjustable heating and air conditioning. the hotel exceeded my expectations and I was particularly impressed with the level of service provided by the friendly staff.

Noise from ongoing construction outside the hotel was an inconvenience. 🚧

I was pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of the breakfast options at Gurkent. They had a wide selection of eggs, cheese, and bread, and the tea was absolutely delightful.

I did notice a faint smell of cigarettes in my room, which was a bit disappointing. It would have been nice to have the option of choosing a smoking-free room or at least being informed about the possibility of smoking in the hotel.

Great central location near popular districts with shops, restaurants, and bars. Spacious double rooms with comfortable couch and sofa. Fantastic homemade Turkish pastries for breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff, from reception to cleaning. Excellent service went above and beyond.

The location of the hotel is excellent, as it is situated on a peaceful street under the pedestrian walkway, but still close to the main Attaturk Boulevard. It is also conveniently near the Ulus metro station, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a reading corner and a comfortable armchair. The bathrooms are well-equipped, with rain showers. The staff are friendly and helpful, providing excellent service. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, including delicious homemade Turkish pastries.

Some guests experienced slow and unreliable internet during their stay at the hotel.
