We stayed one night in Hotel Broken Column due to a long layover in Istanbul and wanted to explore the city. The hotel's location was perfect, just a 5-minute walk from Hagia Sophia and a 3-minute walk from the Blue Mosque. Despite our late check-in at 2:30 AM, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The breakfast offered a good variety of options, and the terrace had an amazing view of the Sea of Marmara.

AC didn't work properly and had to be moved to another room without blackout curtains. Flies were flying around uncovered breakfast buffet.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location couldn't be better, right in the heart of the historic center. We were able to easily explore all the famous landmarks and mosques. The service was exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. The room was spacious and clean, and we loved the added touches like the balcony and in-room safe. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast and the friendly atmosphere of the restaurant.

The location was perfect, just a short walk to the Blue Mosque and surrounded by charming restaurants. The manager, Cengiz, was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and a lovely view of the Bosphorus. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of hot and cold options, served on the top floor with stunning views. The free wifi was a definite plus. we highly recommend Hotel Broken Column for its fantastic location, great hospitality, and reasonable price.

It is also close to the Sultanahmet tramway station, providing easy access to transportation. There are many restaurants in the area, offering a variety of dining options.

That the walls were quite thin, so sometimes we could hear our neighbors talking. there were quite a few cats around the area that were noisy at night.

The food in Istanbul, from doners to chicken Shish and Pistachio ice cream, was absolutely mouthwatering. Despite some minor issues with WiFi and the room needing repairs, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to others. a truly memorable experience in a wonderful city.
