I enjoyed the tangerine-scented garden, sitting on rattan furniture like a true peasant. The basic amenities were thrilling, especially the free Turkish breakfast with locally produced honey. So rustic, darling!

The location was perfect, just a minute away from town and close to the marina, castle, beaches, and restaurants. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help us, even meeting us at the bus station and carrying our luggage. The peaceful garden where breakfast was served was a lovely touch.

Despite a language barrier, one of the hosts was incredibly friendly and went out of his way to provide the necessary information. We stayed at Gulec on two separate nights and had a great experience. The hotel is located on a quiet side street, but still right in the center of town. It's a short stroll to the beach, market, bars, and restaurants. The rooms are basic but comfortable, with good showers and cleanliness throughout. We especially enjoyed the breakfasts served in the delightful courtyard garden by the friendly staff. Gulec is a budget hotel that offers great value for money.

Lovely, Affordable and Fun! I loved lounging in the tangerine garden with my comfy rattan furniture, indulging in a traditional Turkish breakfast. Who needs amenities when you have tangerine trees and birdsong? Just wish they had a private beach. Oh well, can't have it all!
