We stayed at a hotel very close to the airport for our transfer in Istanbul. It was convenient and a yellow taxi ride cost us only 10 dollars. The staff at the reception was helpful and ordered us a taxi for our return, which was even cheaper at 115 Lira's. The mattresses and pillows were comfortable, and although you could hear planes, it wasn't too loud. I would suggest bringing earplugs. The breakfast was good as well. it was a good spot for a quick stay near the airport.
