The staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay enjoyable. The location was safe and peaceful, away from the main road. The self-catering facilities were convenient. The forest walk nearby was a highlight, especially the breathtaking views from the tree-top tower. Local transport to the nearby town was cheap and easily accessible.

The wifi and personal network were frustratingly weak. The lack of a restaurant/bar area may be inconvenient for those who prefer not to cook for themselves.

Our stay at Kisubi Forest Cottages was absolutely superb. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, giving it a cozy and relaxing ambiance. The highlight for us was the lovely yard where we could unwind and enjoy our free time. Plus, being only a 30-minute drive from Kampala's city center, we could easily escape the chaos and tension of the city.

Although the hotel is currently in the process of building a restaurant/bar area, we didn't miss its absence. In fact, we enjoyed being able to contribute to the construction and lay down some bricks ourselves.
