We got great value for our money with a spacious and clean room, complete with a hot tub and a comfortable bed. The location was ideal, just a short walk from all the shops and bars. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The morning meal could have been improved with a hook on the wall for the shower head, so we didn't have to hold it while showering.

We had the most amazing stay at A Room in the City - West. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The room was clean, warm, and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect, close to all the shops and restaurants in the city center. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options to choose from. We even had the pleasure of snuggling with the friendly cats at night. it was a cozy and comfortable experience that we would highly recommend.

And the cleanliness was impeccable, making me feel instantly comfortable. I was delighted to find a Jacuzzi in the bathroom, such a luxury! The location was perfect, just a short walk from the main street and the airport bus stop. David, the host, was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. I can't recommend this B&B highly enough for anyone visiting Edinburgh. I had an amazing experience and would definitely stay here again.

The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even going the extra mile to provide amenities for our dog. The room itself was lovely, with special touches and a comfortable bed. We stayed at this lovely hotel for a short break and were welcomed warmly by the owners. They provided great advice for exploring the city and the breakfast was amazing. The rooms were beautiful and we loved the cats that would occasionally visit outside. The location was perfect, being both quiet and central. the hosts at A Room In the City - West were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel like a friend rather than just a guest. the bedroom was spacious and comfortable, complete with tea/coffee making facilities and a hairdryer. the highlight was the amazing jacuzzi bath, although I didn't have time to try it out this time. the entire property was spotless, and most of the main tourist attractions were within a short walking distance. I highly recommend this B&B and look forward to returning in the future.

The location of the hotel was superb, with plenty of pubs, bars, and restaurants within a 5, minute walk. the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and nicely decorated. the bathrooms were also clean and well, maintained.

The communication regarding check, in time was confusing and disappointing. I had a medical emergency that caused me to arrive later, and initially, they told me to cancel my reservation.

Perfect location, fantastic hosts, amazing breakfast, meticulously clean room, comfortable beds.
