Nothing not to love.

We got great value for our money and the room was amazing. The location in the middle of the jungle was perfect, with lots of activities to do onsite. The staff at the hotel were super friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Food for breakfast could have been better, but overall it was a minor issue.

During our romantic escape, we were pleased with the beautiful surroundings and the peaceful ambiance. the natural environment was stunning, with lush vegetation and an abundance of wildlife. We enjoyed waking up to the sounds of birds chirping and monkeys playing in the trees. the location of the hotel was also ideal, providing easy access to nearby attractions and activities. It was convenient to explore the surrounding rainforest and immerse ourselves in the nature. We also appreciated the attentive and friendly staff, who always went out of their way to ensure our comfort and satisfaction.

There were a few aspects of our stay that we found disappointing. the accommodations were not as luxurious as we had expected.

We recently stayed at Chaa Creek for our family vacation in Belize. The property exceeded our expectations with its stunning beauty and "wildly civilized luxury." The infinity pool provided relaxation and fun for both teenagers and adults. The restaurant ambiance was perfect and the food was fresh, delicious, and well-presented. Our Macal River View Suite was spacious and luxurious, with comfortable beds and beautiful decor. The best part of our stay was the friendly and helpful staff, who made our experience truly enjoyable. The tours, especially Xunantunich, were fantastic and our guides were knowledgeable and friendly. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

The well-designed resort and its facilities were lovely and comfortable. The knowledgeable and gracious specialty guides made our stay truly special. The private villas in serene spots, attentive staff, and impressive naturalists added to the overall amazing experience.

The grounds were beautifully kept and the location was fantastic. We loved staying in one of the villa's with its own pool and hot tub. It definitely made us feel luxurious during our stay. the staff was incredibly friendly and genuine, always attending to our every need. the food at the restaurant was excellent, with a new creative menu every evening. We also enjoyed the various activities offered, such as hikes and canoeing.

During my recent visit to The Lodge At Chaacreek, I was blown away by the stunning surroundings and exceptional service. The treehouse rooms provided a unique and immersive experience, surrounded by nature. The abundance of hiking trails allowed me to explore the beautiful rainforest right at my doorstep. The variety of bird species, including the keel billed toucans, made every afternoon a delightful birdwatching experience. The food at the resort was consistently excellent, and I didn't have a single bad meal throughout my stay. The convenience of having a sister restaurant in town, Guava Limb, added to the overall experience. The knowledgeable and friendly staff, like Miguel, was always there to assist with any request or provide top-notch birding tips. The option of driving from Belize City and stopping by the Belize zoo or flying into San Ignacio were both convenient choices. The Lodge At Chaacreek is truly a hidden gem in the rainforest, offering a memorable and rejuvenating retreat.

Spent an amazing Christmas at this hotel! Loved the beautiful jungle surroundings and the variety of activities offered. the location was perfect, close to ruins and caves. the staff were friendly and professional, making us feel like family. the spa experience was incredible, with a facial that brought tears of gratitude. the wildlife was a highlight, seeing howler monkeys and toucans right in front of our villa. an unforgettable experience!

Had a couple of minor issues during our stay. There was a scheduling error with our spa reservations, but it was eventually resolved.

I had the most wonderful stay at Macal River Camp with my family of four. The camp was exactly as advertised - cozy cabins surrounded by nature. The highlight of our stay was the amazing staff who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The meals provided were excellent, and we were never treated as lesser guests despite staying in the more budget-friendly camp accommodations. The excursions organized by the resort, including trips to Tikal, were professionally handled with knowledgeable guides. The grounds of the lodge, including the pool and restaurant, were also top-notch. I would highly recommend Chaa Creek to anyone looking for an isolated and jungle-surrounded getaway.

Loved the beautiful jungle setting and the relaxing atmosphere of the resort. the casitas among the trees and jungle plants were amazing, and we even saw toucans right outside our door! the restaurant was a highlight, with its open-air design and high thatched roof. the food was excellent, with a new and creative menu every evening. the staff were so welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. the service was impeccable, and the bartenders made delicious and refreshing drinks. We also enjoyed the various paths that led to different attractions within the resort, such as the Butterfly Farm and the bar and restaurant.

There were some negative aspects to our stay. the advertised butler service was not what we expected.
