The Aaron Glen Guest House in Loanhead was a delightful stay. the hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating, the breakfast spread was varied and delicious, and the room was clean and comfortable. the bar's self-service setup added a unique touch, and the location, not far from the city center with convenient bus connections, made exploring Edinburgh easy. the relaxation area with a secluded garden was a hidden gem. the nearby Straiton Pond Local Nature Reserve and Battle of Roslin Monument provided opportunities for peaceful walks and family bonding, immersing us in the region's history and natural beauty. a fantastic experience that I would highly recommend to fellow travelers.

the charming hostess and spotlessly clean rooms made it the best guest house i've visited. the lovely rooms were very comfortable and offered beautiful scenic views. the advice from les and carolyn was fantastic, guiding me to wonderful sightseeing spots like rosslyn chapel and stuart brewery. the convenience of nearby bus routes made exploring easy and enjoyable.

I did find that the search function on the database was sometimes a little slow to load, but this was only a minor inconvenience in an otherwise exceptional experience.

Access to public transportation made it easy to explore the city center. a fantastic experience!

The room was spacious with stunning views and top-notch amenities. the warm reception and safety measures by the staff were outstanding. Convenient transportation to the city center in just 30 minutes.

The location of the guest house is perfect, not too far from the city center with plenty of regular buses available. The room is clean and spacious, with an en-suite bathroom. The hosts are friendly and very helpful, creating a safe environment for solo travelers. The breakfast is informal, with a wide range of goodies to choose from. The self-service bar is a great addition, offering a generous supply of drinks. Guests can also enjoy the beautiful view from the room and the exceptional cleanliness of the entire guest house.

Other aspects of the guest house could be improved.

We were a big group of friends and we loved the spacious and modern rooms, fantastic value for money. The 52 inch OLED smart TV was a great addition. The hidden smoking area in the well-illuminated garden was a delightful surprise, reminiscent of the Christmas markets in Manchester. The guest house had a bar and sitting room, although we didn't have the opportunity to use them. The prices were excellent and we appreciated the amenities provided in the room, such as a variety of coffees, Scottish fudge, shampoo, body wash, and a USB charging splitter. Despite being fully booked, the guest house was quiet, ensuring we had a fantastic night's rest. The staff, especially Carolyn, were amazing and made our experience memorable.

The room was huge, modern, and offered a great value for money. a good option for nature lovers with a desire to be in direct touch with nature.
