Acorn Cottage exceeded our expectations with its amazing facilities and amenities. The host, Wendy, was incredibly attentive and made our anniversary stay extra special with thoughtful touches. The hot tub was clean and ready for us to use, adding to the relaxation and enjoyment of our trip. The entire cottage was spotless and provided a home-like atmosphere. We are already planning to book again in the future. Thank you, Wendy, for the excellent service and for making our time at Acorn Cottage truly memorable.

Felt like family, no reason to complain.

Nestled in a peaceful area, this lovely cottage offers clean, well-equipped rooms with all the comforts you need. The host is always on hand to help and suggest activities. The beautiful garden, complete with a pond and bird-watching opportunities, adds a touch of freshness and tranquility. There's even a Jacuzzi and a hot tub with lovely little lights and rubber ducks for a relaxing dip.

Ants and wood lice were a minor inconvenience.

Absolutely amazing place and host, can't recommend enough! Wendy took care of everything and so much attention to detail. Lovely touches and made to feel so welcome. Wendy kept checking to see if we were ok and whilst talking to her it felt like we had known her forever. the place was lovely and warm and so clean and hygienic. the hot tub was to die for. Surrounding gardens, amazing pond, beautiful flowers, and the amount of work Wendy and Nigel put in can only be admired. So much to do in the area, cannot get bored. Pleasure to meet wonderful people and stay at such a beautiful place. Thank you both so much!

Excellent hosts, friendly and gave great recommendations. Went above and beyond to help us, even styling our daughter's hair for a wedding. the cottage was clean, stylish, and spacious. We had a wonderful stay!

We stayed at a lovely cottage with stunning gardens. The spacious accommodation had everything we needed, including two large bathrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. The queen-sized pull-down bed and comfy sofas provided extra comfort. The rainforest shower was invigorating, and the off-road parking was convenient. The attention to detail and the home-from-home feeling made our stay truly enjoyable. We can't wait to return and try the hot tub.

We had a truly fantastic stay at a charming and cosy cottage. It felt like a home away from home with thoughtful touches like plentiful towels and blankets, as well as tea, coffee, and biscuits upon arrival. the hot tub was a definite highlight, and the cottage had all the amenities we could ask for, from Sky TV and WiFi to comfortable beds and ample plug sockets. the secluded location made us feel like we were in a different world, despite being just a short distance from home. We had a lovely, relaxing time with friends for my birthday.

Lovely hidden gem in Nottinghamshire! Ideal for couples or families. Beautiful garden and hot tub, comfy bed, well-equipped kitchen, and wonderful shower. The hosts were kind and friendly, and the sitting area with comfy sofas was spacious. The little extras like milk in the fridge and a warm welcome made us feel right at home. Can't wait to visit again!

Some guests mentioned that the bedroom and living room felt a bit damp in the evening, possibly due to open windows or the proximity of the hot tub. Perhaps using a dehumidifier would help address this issue.

The cottage was incredibly clean and had a modern shower room and en suite bathroom. The kitchen was spacious and great for dining in. The hot tub added a touch of luxury and the view from it was amazing. The host, Wendy, was very friendly and accommodating. The thoughtful touch of providing milk, butter, biscuits, and orange juice was appreciated, especially by the kids.
