The hotel's location is also a highlight, being situated on the south side of a charming area with easy access to Dartmoor. There are plenty of areas to relax, both indoors and outdoors, making it an ideal spot for unwinding after a day of exploring.

We stayed at YHA Okehampton for 3 nights as a family of 5. The price was great, especially with breakfast included. The self-catering kitchen was convenient, and we even hired bikes to explore the local park and castle. The location was perfect and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. We had a great break away and would definitely consider staying here again.

Our stay at Yha was amazing! We were a large group and the spacious lounges made it easy for us to socialize. The staff was friendly and quickly resolved the issue with the oven. The beds were comfortable, the rooms warm, and the self-catering kitchen was convenient. The location was great, with a nearby park and castle for family outings. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of options. The reception area and kitchen being open all night was a bonus for us night owls. 100% recommend this hotel.

The location of this hotel was fantastic for our Christmas getaway. We were able to explore the nearby national park and even rent bicycles for a fun ride. the 20-minute walk to the small castle was also a highlight, and the 1.5-hour walk to Rowtor was worth it for the beautiful views. the staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The heaters in our room didn't automatically turn on, and even after asking the staff, the room didn't get very warm. there was a bit of dust in my bed, possibly due to the open window when we checked in.
