I had an excellent 3-night stay at the Alexandra Hotel with my husband and our furry friend. The owners, Fiona and Alan, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Yvonne, the staff member, was also attentive and kind. Our room was immaculate and the bed was spacious and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The breakfast choices were immense, with options like Full Scottish breakfast and smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, all made with lovely ingredients and beautifully cooked. The bar lounge was cozy and had a great selection of whiskys. The hotel also offered a fantastic menu for lunch and dinner, with delicious options like fish and chips and steak pie. Excellent value for money and we can't wait to return. I highly recommend this hotel.
