I had a wonderful stay at this centrally located hotel in Ambleside. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I especially loved the original features and the cozy fireplace. There was plenty of space to store my clothes and belongings, which was a nice bonus. The hotel also offered off-site parking arrangements at no extra cost, which was very convenient considering parking can be a challenge in Ambleside. I had a great experience and would recommend this hotel.

Drawbacks: The only minor issues I encountered were with the shower temperature dial, which didn't seem to make much of a difference, and the lack of hooks in the bathroom to hang towels. Additionally, the kettle in my room had a short cord, so I had to place it on the floor to boil it.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, with plenty of local places to eat that serve delicious food made with local produce. , the fact that there is free parking, even though it may be a short walk away, is definitely a plus.

The noise level at night was unbearable, especially if you're looking for a peaceful and quiet stay. The walls are extremely thin, and you can hear everything happening in the neighboring rooms.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and had a pleasant atmosphere. The hotel facilities were great, including a nice play park which our daughter enjoyed. The location was brilliant, close to everything, including the Tarentella Restaurant that owned the property. The restaurant food and service were excellent. We also appreciated the fast and reliable WiFi, the quiet room, and the smart and tidy surroundings. It was just what we needed for our break away.
