Our one-night stay at Apex was wonderful. The hotel staff made us feel incredibly welcome and even upgraded our room for our honeymoon. The location in the city centre was perfect and the hotel facilities were top-notch. We particularly enjoyed the spa, despite the slightly higher price. Plus, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and we had a great night's sleep.

The location was perfect, right outside the train station and close to all the main sights. The service was top-notch, the staff were always friendly and helpful. The amenities in the room were great, including ironing facilities, air conditioning, and tea and coffee making facilities. The spa center was a real highlight, with an indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam room. We also enjoyed the restaurant and bar in the hotel, with excellent food and drink options.

We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay.

We had a fantastic stay here! The location is great - we were able to walk everywhere, including the royal mile and all the shops on princess street. The hotel also has a wonderful swimming pool that we took full advantage of. The restaurant within the hotel served a small menu, but the food was cooked and served brilliantly. They even accepted our taste card without any issues. The staff ensured that our stay was of the highest standard and were very helpful and friendly.

One lift was under renovation.

The location was a major plus, as it was right next to the St James Square and Waverley Train Station was just a 5-minute walk away. This made it incredibly convenient to explore the city, and most attractions were within walking distance. The room was comfortable with a large television on the wall, and the bathroom was modern with a fantastic shower. The breakfast had a great selection and the hot food was cooked to order.

I recently stayed at Apex in the beautiful city of Edinburgh for a short trip. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the facilities were impeccable. The room had a lovely comfortable bed with beautiful cotton bedding, and the bathroom was stocked with luxurious Elemis toiletries. Despite being located at the front of the hotel, the secondary double glazing ensured a peaceful night's sleep. The central location made it easy to access from Waverley train station. I highly recommend this hotel.

Nothing not to love.

We had a great stay at Apex with a comfortable bed and a great view of the city. The staff was helpful when we needed to switch from a double to a twin room. The sauna and pool were an added bonus at the end of a busy day. we recommend Apex for a stay in Edinburgh.

The hotel is located in a prime area, within walking distance of many great attractions in the city. You won't need to worry about transport as it's easy to walk to Grassmarket or take a short stroll to a nice shopping mall. The rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds, and the bathroom has complimentary toiletries to enjoy. The attentive and friendly staff are always available to assist with anything you may need and provide helpful recommendations. Guests can also look forward to a delicious breakfast and tasty nibbles in the room.

The hotel could benefit from a more cosy and inviting atmosphere in the bar area.

We enjoyed our Christmas stay with high spirits. We were offered complimentary champagne and cakes that made us feel extra special. the location is perfect for touring the Christmas markets and local shops nearby. There were also cozy restaurants within walking distance. the room was cozy with a great view of the city.

Our stay was not perfect. the key card had to be redone several times due to issues.
