my recent overnight stay in bridgwater was exceptional. the hotel exceeded my expectations with its delicious breakfast and dinner, comfortable accommodation, and beautiful countryside setting. the owners and staff were friendly and welcoming, adding to the positive experience. a highly recommended place to stay.

I had the most delightful stay at the Apple Tree Hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the hosts and the rest of the staff. The service was not only friendly but also incredibly efficient, which made our experience even more enjoyable.

the ambiance was welcoming and the hosts, Simon and Gillian, were incredibly friendly. the spacious and comfortable room provided a perfect retreat. What stood out most was the delicious food - from the excellent breakfast to the wide range of freshly cooked dishes for dinner. Each evening offered different specials, using high-quality ingredients that were cooked to perfection. With its convenient location near Steart Marshes, the Quantocks, Dunster, and the coast, there were plenty of places to explore during our visit.

The location of the hotel, in the beautiful countryside yet close to Bridgwater and other attractions, was perfect for me. Additionally, the room I stayed in was clean, comfortable, and had all the necessary facilities. The bed was extremely comfortable and I had easy access to the car park. Lastly, I must mention the breakfast which was made with high-quality ingredients and was absolutely delicious.

He even went out of his way to arrange affordable transportation for me. The breakfast was incredibly fulfilling and delicious, leaving me satisfied for the day. The comfortable and clean room provided a great night's sleep. The hotel grounds were beautiful and added to the overall ambiance. The hotel room was dated and didn’t look modern at all. the bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were too soft.

The rooms may be slightly worn, but they are still comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, with ample supplies of toiletries available upon request. Additionally, the breakfast and dinner at this hotel are excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious options.

The Apple Tree Hotel is a hidden gem nestled in a lovely garden area. The warm welcome at reception made us feel at home instantly. The room, with its little touches like biscuits and bottled water, was comfortable and everything worked perfectly. The hardworking staff ensured our stay was exceptional, providing excellent service and making us feel truly valued. Breakfast was of a very good standard, with delicious options on offer. The location was ideal, close to the wedding destination we were attending.

Just to be really picky, I wished there had been a shower chair in the bathroom.
