One of the highlights of our trip was staying in a charming old castle. The location of the castle was perfect, with restaurants just a short walk away in the town. We really enjoyed exploring the castle and learning about its fascinating history from the knowledgeable tour guide. The room we stayed in was spacious and the bathroom was modern and clean. The service provided by the staff was fantastic, they were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast in the sumptuous dining room was delicious and had a great variety of options. it was a wonderful experience.

We were disappointed to find out that the advertised hot tub and sauna were not available.

Stayed at a castle and it was an amazing experience! The atmosphere inside and out was fantastic. The grounds were impressive and I can't wait to see the ongoing renovations. The dinner in the evening was outstanding, with delicious food and a candlelit setting accompanied by piano music. Highly recommended! The tour the next day was also interesting. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable, making it easy to feel at home. The location was ideal for walking into town and exploring the bars and coffee shops.

We loved everything about our stay at this castle. The room we booked, although one of the cheaper options, was spacious and had a comfortable king-sized bed with cozy cotton sheets and pillows. The modern walk-in shower in the bathroom was a pleasant surprise, considering the antique furniture in the room. The breakfast provided was superb, and we also had the opportunity to go on a fantastic tour led by a local history expert named Kenneth. He showed us around the castle, including the dungeon, and displayed a collection of fascinating historical artifacts. The staff, from James who welcomed us upon arrival to the kitchen and room staff, along with Kenneth and the owner, Mrs. Nightingale, made us feel at home and part of the family.

That the hot water ran out in our room on one evening, which meant a chilly shower for us! But overall, the pros definitely outweighed the cons and we had a great time.
