The positioning near a picturesque lake and close to the town center made exploring a breeze. the family-run restaurant's warm atmosphere added charm to meals. the easy access to majestic views enhanced the overall experience. the spa bathroom facilities in the room were a delightful touch, providing a sense of luxury.

Just got back from a fabulous stay in a quiet area with stunning hill views. LOVED the rooms with hot tubs on the balcony. Would definitely go back! Even better than photos!

The room was super cozy and inviting, with a lovely view of the Lake District Fells. As a vegetarian, I appreciated the lush surroundings and the peaceful ambiance for a relaxing stay.

I would have preferred if the room had air conditioning, but it didn't dampen my overall enjoyment.

the historical home welcomed us with gorgeous decor and a friendly staff. I particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast and well-priced drinks at the comfortable bar area. the location was ideal for our Lake District walk, and the hosts were incredibly helpful. the luxurious whirlpool and air spa-bath provided a relaxing retreat after a long day, making it a perfect place to unwind. the great water pressure in the shower was also a nice touch.

The room I stayed in, Room 5, had a small size and an obstructed view of the fire escape.

The staff were super chill and the food was fire! We hit up the HOTEL TRIPLETS ENTERTAINMENT and it was epic. Had a blast with the squad and can't wait to go back for more fun times!

Would've been sick to have a more happening nightlife vibe for us youngsters.

We had a fantastic stay at applegarth villa hotel & restaurant. from the welcoming staff to the excellent food and beautiful decor, everything was top-notch. the attention to detail and care ' experience was truly remarkable. the room, albeit slightly small, was made up for by the luxurious spa bathroom facilities.

The beds were incredibly comfortable and the rooms were wonderfully quiet. We appreciated the peace and quiet for a good night's sleep. the breakfasts were top-notch, and the staff were always friendly and welcoming.

A fan was provided, but it didn't do much to cool the room down.

As a solo female traveler, I loved the warm and friendly staff, beautiful decor, and ample free parking.

We started our Lake District walk at this gem. the property was stunning, with modern facilities and a cozy dining area. the staff's warm welcome and attentive service made us feel at home. the delicious breakfast selection and tasty evening meals were highlights. the lovely spa bathroom in our suite added a touch of luxury to our stay. Applegarth was perfect for a relaxing getaway.

Overall a great few days, from the warm welcome on arrival to the super friendly staff serving our food and servicing our suite. Breakfast selection on offer was excellent and evening meal was very tasty all served up in the comfy dining area. the original house is a stunning Victorian home beautifully decorated with lots of original furniture. the owners take great care to ensure guests are happy, and the fixtures and fittings were of high quality. the setting near landmarks like St Mary's Church and Lake Windermere brought us closer as a family, and the relaxing sun terrace and garden area were perfect for unwinding together. the lack of a lift was challenging for older guests like us, but the helpful staff made up for it with their assistance. A handrail in the bathroom would greatly improve safety for elderly guests.
