We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location, at the top of a long hill from the rail station, provided breathtaking views of the surrounding area. The service and housekeeping were top-notch, ensuring that we felt pampered and well taken care of throughout our stay. The room amenities were of the highest quality, with free toiletries, an electric kettle, and a flat-screen TV to enjoy. The comfortable and carpeted floors made us feel right at home. The dining experience was excellent, with a delicious breakfast offering a wide variety of options to choose from. The staff were friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The on-site car park provided convenience and peace of mind, while the jacuzzi and leisure facilities were a welcome addition to our relaxation. From the moment we arrived, the hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The room had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. The hidden off-road parking was a huge relief for our car. I recently stayed at a guest house located on a main road junction, in a very muddy area, but incredibly close to the centre of town. The room was clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed that made me feel right at home. The service provided by the hosts was exceptional, with Julie and her husband going above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. The breakfast options were fantastic, with a variety of freshly made dishes to choose from, including homemade marmalade and honey. I also appreciated the flexibility in check-in time to accommodate my early arrival for a nearby event.

The shower in the room was quite small and the doors didn't close properly, leading to a wet and slippery floor.

Spent Christmas away from home and it was great! the staff were beyond friendly and the breakfast was freshly made to order. We were pleasantly surprised by the key location, which was a short walk to the train station and a hospital. There was also a great supermarket nearby to grab any last minute items. the bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was newly renovated. Loved having a safe parking spot for our car as well.

The breakfast was great, although the bacon was a bit too salty for our taste. The location was convenient, with an easy walk to the town centre and surprisingly quiet rooms in the annexe. We particularly appreciated having our own access to the room, making it hassle-free to come and go as we pleased. The owners and the lady who served us breakfast were incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome throughout our stay.
