We had a fantastic stay at Aurora Rural Retreats! The hostess was incredibly responsive and caring. The cabin was well-equipped with everything we could possibly need, including a comfortable and spacious bed, a great shower, and a nice view of the water. We also loved the cute sheep dotted around the property. Despite the gloomy weather, our stay at this magical place was truly enjoyable. We will definitely recommend it to everyone!

The owner of this hidden gem was incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to ensure I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The property itself was stunning, nestled in nature with breathtaking views. Impeccable cleanliness and attention to detail made the rooms and common areas spotless. The surrounding area offered plenty of activities, with invaluable recommendations from the owner. an exceptional and rejuvenating experience.

The location of this retreat is absolutely stunning, nestled in the remote and picturesque countryside of northern Skye's peninsula. Guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the village and ocean from the porch, and even catch glimpses of the Aurora Borealis. The accommodations are spacious and cozy, with thoughtful details such as hot water bottles, bathrobes, and a well-equipped kitchenette with a washing machine. Guests are pampered with amenities like organic toiletries, slippers, and even a bottle of wine.

The building quality of the cottages could be improved, with uneven plasterboard walls/ceilings and a slightly slanted bed.

We had a very warm welcome from Heidi at Aurora Rural Retreats. The views from Aurora No.3 were fantastic, offering peace and tranquility. The heater quickly warmed us up in the colder October weather. The shower had lovely hot water, and the location was easy to navigate. Excellent customer service and a comfortable stay.

Would be happy to recommend this hotel.
