I recently had a fantastic stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location was perfect, just off the main square in a quiet residential street, providing a peaceful environment while still being close to the town center. The hosts, Tony and Pearl, were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure that I had the best stay possible. They provided lots of useful information on dining options, bars, walks, and attractions, making it easy to explore the area. The attention to detail in the hotel was outstanding, with locally produced toiletries, a well-stocked tea and coffee tray, and a detailed guest information pack and maps. The room itself had a truly luxurious feel with tasteful decor and modern amenities. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a wide selection of locally sourced options that kept me fueled until dinner time.

The perfect weekend getaway! The hosts were so friendly and helpful, making our stay at Avondale Guest House truly enjoyable. The room was spotless and had all the little extras we needed, like dressing gowns and toiletries. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and gave us a great start to our day exploring Keswick. The location was ideal, allowing us to easily walk to town for lunch or dinner but still enjoy a peaceful night's sleep. We couldn't have asked for more. I highly recommend this hotel for a fantastic stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Avondale. The location was perfect, with everything we needed just a short walk away. The breakfast options were delicious and we appreciated the homemade muesli. Tony and Pearl were fantastic hosts, providing helpful suggestions for walks and making us feel right at home. The B&B was impeccably clean and our room was cozy and comfortable. We would happily return to the Avondale in the future.

I had the most delightful stay at a charming guesthouse in Keswick. The location was excellent, just a short walk away from the center. The warm welcome I received from Tony and Pearl made me feel right at home. The room on the top floor was clean and comfortable, with a modern bathroom. The breakfast, especially the herbed tomatoes, was delicious. The small inconvenience of parking was easily managed. I wholeheartedly recommend this guesthouse and can't wait to return. a lovely experience.

The value for money at this little B&B was fantastic, and the room was clean and tidy. The location was perfect, just a two-minute walk from restaurants, pubs, and shops in town. The breakfast experience could have been improved with slightly larger beds in the rooms, as my feet were slightly hanging over the edge, which was a bit uncomfortable.

They were helpful in suggesting local places to eat and drink, and even dried our wet walking boots and coats overnight. The breakfasts were delicious and satisfying, with plenty of options to choose from.

The lack of a bath in the bathroom was a slight disappointment.

The cleanliness wasn't up to par. Our room wasn't properly cleaned upon arrival and we had to ask for it to be redone.
