This hotel offers great value for money, with reasonable prices for meals and drinks. The attention to detail is evident in the clean and spacious rooms, each with its own balcony and a nice view of the sea. The staff are warm and welcoming, providing excellent service. Additionally, the location right on the beach is a major plus.

our stay at zanzibar house was simply perfect. after our safari, we were looking for a quiet beach getaway and this place exceeded our expectations. the building was fascinating with lots of history, our rooms were comfortable and clean, and the balcony overlooking the beach was amazing.

Shower had issues.

Base yourself away from home-everything at this little bit of paradise right on the beach. The location couldn't be better with stunning views of the ocean. The staff is incredibly mindful, providing great service. There are lots of lounging areas and a cool pool to chill out. The hotel is nicely decorated with traditional style and anticipates all your needs including toiletries, a hairdryer, slippers, and dressing gown.

The set menu dinner might not suit everyone's preference, as it can be late and time-consuming.

We had a delightful time at a charming B&B overlooking a stunning beach in Matemwe. The attention to detail, from the well-maintained garden to the stable WIFI, was impeccable. The small bottle candles on the dinner tables and the turn down service in the evenings added a romantic touch. The owners, especially Lina and Suleyman, were incredibly helpful and made us feel special. I highly recommend this lovely hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The beach location is unbeatable. It's private and right in front of the hotel. We were able to relax and unwind while enjoying the beautiful scenery and clear water. the food offered by the hotel was fantastic and we didn't have to worry about finding other restaurants nearby. the staff was friendly and helpful whenever we needed anything.

The lack of other dining options nearby was a bit of a downside. We had to rely on the hotel for our meals, which was great, but it would have been nice to explore other local cuisine.
