Jane and Arthur were exceptional hosts, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere. the beautifully presented B&B exuded comfort and homeliness. the delicious cooked breakfast, with thoughtful details like removing tomato cores, was a delightful start to our day. the meticulously cleaned room, complete with fresh milk and bottled water, truly made us feel at home.

During our stay, we were impressed by the convenient location of the hotel. It was within walking distance to various attractions such as the castle, town, and Barter books. The room provided a comfortable stay with thoughtful touches in the toiletries department. The staff were friendly and made us feel at home. The breakfast served was delicious and cooked to order, ensuring a satisfying start to the day. The ample parking and resident ducks added to the overall charm of the hotel.

One minor issue was the need to book for somewhere to eat in the evening.

We got excellent value for our money at Aydon House. The room was clean, fresh, and spacious, with thoughtful touches like extra toiletries and ample tea and coffee supplies. The location was perfect, within walking distance to dining, Alnwick Castle, and all the attractions in Northumberland. The staff treated us like family, providing a warm welcome and going above and beyond to cater to our needs. We especially appreciated Mr. accommodating my vegetarian husband with delicious vegetarian sausages for breakfast. Our stay truly felt like a home away from home, and we loved interacting with the friendly resident ducks and Barney the dog.

The couple running the property are welcoming and friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Convenient location with free parking. Great selection of breakfast options. a wonderful stay.

Everything is what i need and want.

The location of the hotel is great, with a lovely garden and a convenient car park out back. The main road outside can be a bit noisy, but bringing earplugs would solve that problem. The rooms are lovely and clean, with daily fresh milk provided. The breakfast served each morning is delicious, and the host is very chatty and helpful. it was a good stay and I would definitely recommend it.

The TV in the room could not be turned on, which was a bit disappointing. the WiFi signal at the top of the house is not very strong.

It was these small touches that made our stay truly special. the rooms were well-equipped with excellent tea and coffee facilities, and the furnishings created a homely atmosphere. We also enjoyed spending time in the pretty garden and meeting their delightful dog, Barney. Above all, the hosts Jane and Arthur were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Aydon House Bed & Breakfast is a hidden gem that exceeded our expectations.

aydon house b&b was even better than my previous stay in alnwick. the owners were incredibly friendly and made us feel at home. the room was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. the breakfasts were delicious and the garden was beautiful with butterflies and ducks.

The building was stunning and incredibly clean, and the hosts were beyond perfect - so friendly and welcoming. The location couldn't have been better, just a quick 5-minute walk into town. We could easily walk to the castle, gardens, pubs, and restaurants. We highly recommend The Market Tavern for their delicious food and friendly staff. And the onion bhajis at Sherkhan's Indian restaurant were the best we've ever had! Arthur and Jane were amazing, the room was lovely, the area was beautiful, and the breakfast was superb. Barney the dog was an absolute sweetheart. Everything we needed was provided in our room, from earbuds to shoe polish to tea and coffee. The owners were so hospitable and even had extra touches like a torch pen by the bed. The garden was a dream with butterflies and adorable ducks. Can't wait to book again later this year!
