Our room, called "Shane's room," offered a beautiful view of the castle ruins in the garden. Breakfast in the grand dining room, with portraits of ancestors adorning the walls, was a unique and personal experience. We enjoyed hearing anecdotes from the owner, adding an extra touch of delight to our mornings. the tour of the grounds was a bonus, giving us a deeper appreciation for the history of this special place. We can't wait to return someday and relive the magic of Ballylough House.
