Stunning Scenic Setting and Exceptional Breakfast I had a wonderful stay at Bank Ground Farm in Coniston, surrounded by breathtaking views and a charming, historic farmhouse. the breakfast options were delicious, especially the 'posh porridge' with honey and walnuts. the only downside was the lack of pet-friendly accommodation, as family pets are required to stay in a kennel outside at all times.

We stayed at a lovely farm by the water, with friendly staff, a beautiful garden, and cozy beds. the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding areas, including Grizedale forest and Coniston. We enjoyed a delicious dinner with fresh char from the lake, which was a special treat. the breakfast was excellent too. It was a great experience overall, and we felt welcomed and part of the history of the place.
