Our room had a stunning mahogany king, sized four, poster bed that made us feel like royalty. the view over Penrith to the Lakeland Fells was simply breathtaking. As a family, we loved the spaciousness and charm of the cozy Victorian room.

The single, glazed guillotine windows were a bit drafty for a summer night.

the hosts were incredibly welcoming, making me feel right at home. the comfortable bed provided a great night's sleep, and the delicious breakfast with fresh ingredients was a delightful start to the day. the only downside was the slightly drafty windows, which could be improved for better insulation.

A breakfast to remember featuring cold pressed apple juice, freshly baked breads, and a selection of Fairtrade organic coffee and tea. The house is a lovely large white one with a garden full of mature copper beach trees.

We had a wonderful stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location, nestled on a quiet street, offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside, including the beautiful Lakeland Hills. Despite being on a steep hill, it was worth the climb to experience the peacefulness and serenity of this place. The room exceeded our expectations, with its lovely period furniture and cleanliness. The hosts, Sarah and Dino, were exceptional, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere. The breakfasts were a highlight, with delicious homemade and locally sourced produce, including freshly baked bread and scrumptious cakes. The attention to detail, such as the tea pot in the bedroom and hot water bottles, made our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. We highly recommend this venue to family and friends.

We recently enjoyed a lovely romantic escape and found the B&B to be very pleasing. the breakfast was truly amazing with fresh and homemade products, from the juice to the granola. the location was perfect, with easy access to nearby hiking trails and a charming town center. We especially enjoyed the delicious cake that was waiting for us upon arrival.

While there were no major issues, some minor improvements could be made. the parking on the street was a bit challenging and required some skill.

The breakfast at this B&B was fantastic, with a wide variety of choices and delicious options. They even allowed us to stay in the lounge past check-out time and brought us a tray of coffee when they found out we were attending an event nearby. It made our weekend so much easier and more enjoyable.

One thing I didn't like about this place was the parking situation. the location was on a steep road and while there was parking available on the street, it was a bit tricky to maneuver into a spot.
