I recently stayed at the Barclay Guest House for 4 nights and had a fantastic experience. The location was perfect, just steps away from the beach and pier, with a park nearby as well. It was also convenient to have shops and parking close by. The owners were extremely responsive, friendly, and helpful, providing that personal touch. The rooms were spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast, cooked by Kirsti, was delicious and there was a great variety of options. Additionally, the proximity to other beautiful towns like Torquay and Brixham made exploring the area easy. I felt comfortable and welcomed throughout my stay and would definitely choose the Barclay Guest House again.

I particularly enjoyed the delicious cooked breakfast that was served, providing a great start to the day. The overall experience was enhanced by the complimentary wi-fi, access to the beach, and the beautiful garden area where I could unwind. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I'm in the area.

We had a great time exploring the city center as the hotel was conveniently located. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely bathroom and a great view of the seaside.
