Stunning views from spacious en-suite bathrooms.

Our shower was initially cold, and it took us a while to get it to run hot. We also faced noise issues from other guests, which disrupted our sleep. Overall, the lack of sound insulation made it hard to have a peaceful night.

Absolutely! A beautiful, clean hotel with stunning bay views from our spacious room. The king bed was incredibly comfortable, and the generous touches, like a mini fridge stocked with fresh water, truly enhanced our stay. The hosts provided great local dining recommendations, making this a fantastic escape for any traveler!

Duuude, this place was, like, so beautiful! The big king bed was, like, the comfiest thing ever, and I loved the complimentary sherry chilling in the room. Seriously, spending time in that gorgeous bathroom with all those fancy toiletries made my day. Plus, the vibe was just right for a chill coastal getaway. Can't wait to come back for longer next time!

oh how delighful to stay in such an amaizing place, if only the owners had informed me earlier that breakfast was unavailable due to their 'personal circumstances'. And the noise from fellow guests, really, is that acceptable? I almost considered giving a good review until I realized a complimentary upgrade was definitely expected here.

We had an amazing stay with our large breed dog! The room was beautifully appointed, complete with chilled water and USB charging points. Watching the ferries go by from our sea view room was a highlight. Mark's local tips were spot on!

In my wife’s opinion, more activities for kids would be great.

The Barriemore offered a cozy twin room with unique furnishings and a spectacular view of Oban Bay. Breakfast in a delightful hamper was a pleasant surprise, providing plenty of options, and the welcoming hosts were always ready with helpful advice about the local area. Parking was also a breeze.

We had booked a room with an incredible view of the bay, lounging in those comfy chairs by the window was surreal! Mark was super friendly and helped us with places to check out while also assuring us he was just a call away if we needed anything.

Sure, it wasn't the cheapest option out there, but it was worth every penny!

Just an excellent fit for a weekend stopover in Oban with incredible value for money. The room was warm and well-decorated, making it very comfortable for our stay. Be sure to ask for coffee and pastries, they were a nice touch for breakfast.
