The breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of options including a delicious fresh fruit salad and a tasty cooked breakfast. the location of the property was perfect for exploring the nearby coastal villages and beaches. There were also plenty of nearby places to eat, making it convenient for dining out. the best part was that the B&B was pet-friendly, with a large enclosed field for exercising the dog and even a special sausage cooked for him at breakfast.

The only small downside was that the single bed in the room had noisy springs that made noise whenever my daughter moved in bed. However, the double bed was comfortable and we had a good night's sleep overall.

They truly made the stay unforgettable. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, with fresh towels provided daily. I loved the little extra touches like a microwave, fridge, and crockery in the room. And let's not forget about the delicious breakfast! Whether I chose the continental or full English option, it was perfectly cooked and satisfying. Located in a great spot on the Devon and Cornwall border, it was convenient for exploring both regions. I highly recommend this B&B for a delightful and memorable stay.

Although I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the B&B, one minor drawback was the squeaky futon in the room. It added a comical touch to our sleep, but it didn't affect the overall experience.

Immaculate room with comfy beds, tea & coffee, and TV. Loved the wet room bathroom. Beautiful views and a field for dog walking. Fantastic hosts, welcoming and friendly, even provided wine glasses. Convenient location with easy access to Bude, Newquay, and beaches. A truly enjoyable stay.

Heating didn't work

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality from the friendly hosts, Julian and Paula. The room I stayed in was spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was easily the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on, and the en suite wet room with a powerful shower and heated floor was a fantastic addition. The hotel's location near the seaside and close to brilliant beaches made it the ideal place for a beach lover like myself. The breakfast offered a delicious continental spread with fresh fruits, and the cooked breakfast included high-quality bacon and sausages sourced from their own pigs.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough to others. The experience I had here was top-notch from start to finish.

our 3rd visit to bude and barton gate farm B&B was even better than before. amazing hosts, cool room upgrade, and thoughtful touches. close to town and beaches, plus a field for dog walks. can't imagine staying anywhere else!

The countryside atmosphere was pleasant, calm and peaceful. There were lots of animals on the farm and nature was beautiful. breakfast was great and filling; they had a good variety of food to choose from. the location was quite convenient as it was close to many tourist spots and trails for hiking.

To our disappointment, the rooms were quite cramped, and the bed was uncomfortable. the shower didn't work well, making the morning routine unpleasant.

What a breakfast! The choices at Barton Gate Farm B&B were excellent, especially the fry up and scrambled eggs. The fresh fruit salad, toast, bread, cereals, and yogurt included in the breakfast were fabulous. They even offered a selection of hot breakfast and a full English for a small additional cost. It was a delicious and satisfying start to the day.

While the room at Barton Gate Farm B&B was comfortable overall, the warm weather made it a bit challenging to sleep. The lack of proper ventilation led to the room feeling hot.
