The Bear Of Rodborough exceeded our expectations in terms of value for money with a superbly comfortable bed and a pleasant room. The location was beautiful, with lovely gardens and areas within the hotel to relax in. The staff were friendly, helpful, and added to the overall experience.

The only improvement I would suggest for breakfast would be a quicker service for placing orders, as our order was mislaid and we had to wait for nearly 60 minutes before mentioning it to the staff.

We had a fantastic stay at The Bear! Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The staff were friendly, competent, and made us feel welcome. The menu in the Common Room and Restaurant was excellent with a great choice of dishes, and the breakfast was delicious. The bar area was cozy and the outside spaces were lovely. The location had beautiful views and easy parking. We can't wait to return!

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. the value for money is outstanding - you get so much more than you would expect for the price paid. The attention to detail is evident throughout, from the beautifully presented rooms with a selection of gels in the large bathroom, to the nice view over the Cotswold scenery from the attic space. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every guest felt welcome and well taken care of. The breakfast, served with a view of the surrounding common, was simply delicious, with a variety of options including local ingredients. The Wi-Fi was strong and reliable, making it easy to stay connected during my stay. The location of the hotel was also ideal, not far from Stroud centre for shopping and positioned perfectly for exploring the area.
