The location of the hotel, just one mile west of Reading on the A4, was convenient for us. The staff was friendly, and we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded from a double room to a super king. The room itself was spacious, with a good-sized bathroom and a walk-in shower. The breakfast was cooked to order, which we appreciated as vegetarians.

The hotel is comfortable, quiet, and ideally situated just outside Reading town centre. The breakfasts are excellent and the staff is welcoming and attentive. The owner went above and beyond by driving us to the train station when our taxi didn't arrive.
