Lovely stay with great food and activities nearby

I had a lovely stay at Bells Hotel, enjoying delicious food in the restaurant and the convenient location near a basketball court and skate park. the staff were friendly, the captain suite was comfortable, and the apple crumble was a standout dessert. the only improvement could be better soundproofing in the rooms to ensure a more peaceful night's sleep.

the database was very impressive, allowing easy access to information and making my stay more efficient. the room with 1 double bed and 1 single bed was comfortable and spacious, with a walk-in shower and balcony. the bedrooms were also conveniently located nearby.

That the Wi-Fi signal was a bit weak in certain areas of the hotel, but this was a minor inconvenience that did not significantly impact my overall experience.

the accommodating staff served an early breakfast on Saturday and the buffet breakfast was fantastic. the charming clubhouse ambiance and well-maintained facilities provided a refreshing change. Our dog-friendly balcony room offered a lovely view of the golf course. the comfortable bed ensured a restful night's sleep and the value for money at £70 was excellent.

Staying at this peaceful hotel within a short drive from the Secret Forest, we were impressed by the warm welcome we received upon arrival. the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay, even offering a range of complimentary drinks and snacks. the cozy lounge area and outdoor picnic tables provided the perfect spots for relaxation after exploring the beautiful natural surroundings. the breakfast menu catered to all dietary needs, with a delicious selection of hot and cold dishes to start the day off right.

Although this hotel had many positives, there were a few minor areas that could use improvement. the decor in some of the rooms appeared slightly dated and in need of refurbishment.

The suites offer more space for your relaxation along with a super king-size bed and comfortable seating areas. I felt like royalty lounging in the extra-large bed, complete with plush pillows. It was the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the beautiful Wye Valley. Cons: Creaky floorboards in corridors.

Nothing it was perfect.

The Premier Suite was absolutely lovely, bright, clean, and tidy, providing great value for money. the staff were friendly and accommodating, making our stay comfortable. the location was perfect for our Forest of Dean adventure. Nearby landmarks like Whitecliff Ironworks and Cannop Ponds added to our family bonding experience. the only downside was a noisy fire-door near our room, easily fixed.

Me and my mates had a wicked time at the hotel, popping in and out for the mad "HOTEL TRIPLETS ENTERTAINMENT" and hitting up the town's coolest party spots! the staff were sick, always ready to help and the brekkie was proper banging!

I'd love it even more if they had a rad game room for us teens to hang out and chill after a mad night on the town!

we stayed at bells and loved the spacious room with a comfy bed and good breakfast selection. the golf clubhouse setting was pleasant, and they accommodated gluten-free needs well, with fresh cooked non-carb options available. the grounds were pristine, and the staff at the front reception were incredibly helpful. the room was clean with crisp white bedding. nice location by the golf course.

During my Christmas stay at this hotel, I was pleased with the variety of restaurant meals offered and the ample free parking. my room had a nice view, and it was clean and quiet.

The mattresses in the room were old-fashioned and lumpy, which made it difficult to sleep. the shower needed to be regrouted, and the bathroom lacked a bathtub.
