My husband and I have been staying at this hotel twice a year for many years now, and we will continue to do so. The location is ideal, with easy parking and plenty of nearby food and drink options. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and they always accommodate my request for a quiet room. It's the perfect place to stay when visiting family, and we couldn't be happier.

Great value for money and comfortable stay. the room was spacious with a king-sized bed, and the breakfast at the adjacent restaurant was ample and tasty. the location was perfect for me, as it was close to my dad's house. Another advantage was the plenty of parking spaces available. a friendly and enjoyable experience.

There were a few minor issues during our stay. Some furnishings and the carpet in the room and along the corridor were slightly worn, but it didn't affect our stay.

I was pleasantly surprised by the lovely property of Berkshire Arms. The decor and facilities in the bedrooms were impressive, and the bathrooms were wonderfully done. I especially appreciated the spacious king bed and the provided amenities such as an iron, ironing board, and hairdryer. The TV in the room was modern, although the reception for all channels was limited. The wardrobe space was sufficient for our long weekend stay. the property was clean and well-maintained.

While there were a few drawbacks during my stay, such as the limited TV reception and the breakfast not meeting expectations, these were minor issues and did not overshadow the overall positive experience.

There was nothing we didn't like.

The bed in our room was very comfortable, allowing us to get a good night's sleep. the windows in the room opened easily, letting in some fresh air. Plus, having an attached restaurant was really convenient for meals.

Nothing for me.

I recently stayed at Berkshire Arms and had a fantastic experience. My purpose for travel was to explore the area, and the hotel's convenient location made it easy to access Newbury and Reading. The hotel itself was lovely, with a character pub attached and clean facilities. I also appreciated the bus stop directly outside, which allowed for convenient transportation. The dinner I had at the hotel was excellent, although slightly more expensive than what I'm used to in South West Wales. The young lady at reception went above and beyond, not only serving my food but also impressively handling the Eton Mess dessert. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. The breakfast was also great, offering good value for money. I had a pleasant stay and would definitely visit again.
