I recently stayed at Hetland Hall for a quick getaway and I had a fantastic experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, and I particularly appreciated the good heating in the room on a cold winter's night. The modern and attractive room was equipped with a comfortable bed, spotlessly clean bathroom, and even had a sitting area. The amenities like two TVs and plenty of sockets were a nice touch. The terrace offered beautiful views and was a great place to enjoy a coffee or cocktail. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, even catering to our vegetarian and coeliac diet. The manager checked in with us regularly to ensure our satisfaction. We loved the buzzing atmosphere in the restaurant during breakfast, which offered a wide selection of delicious food. The modern decor and high standard of the hotel impressed us, making our stay truly enjoyable.

The only downside we experienced was a brief wait upon arrival as there was no one available at the reception.

One minor inconvenience was the noisy room doors and the loud closing of the corridor fire door. This unfortunately disturbed my sleep, particularly as the person in the room opposite mine was coming and going late into the night.

This was our first time staying at Hetland Hall and we received a warm welcome. The entrance and stairway were magnificent with a beautiful wooden banister. The bedroom was spacious with a comfortable bed and good quality furniture. The ensuite was clean and the breakfast had a good variety. It was a delightful stay, especially because we were attending a wedding and had other family and friends staying over. We would definitely book here again.

My teenage son and I recently stayed at a fabulous B&B hotel near Edinburgh. We absolutely loved the atmosphere, location, and the beautiful grounds. The hotel had a quirky charm with its open fires, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The highlight was definitely the delicious full Scottish breakfast, complete with scrummy haggis. We stayed at multiple hotels during our trip, but this one was the best value by far. The room was updated and comfortable, and every member of staff was welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was cooked to order and delightful. We had a fantastic week away from our routines.

During our stay, we were awed by the beautiful property and the stunning suites. Our suite was absolutely gorgeous with a comfortable four poster bed, a cozy lounge area with a fireplace and TV, and a luxurious spa bath with an inbuilt TV and a separate spacious shower. It truly made our stay feel luxurious and special.

Despite a few minor issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Hetland Hall. The positives far outweighed the negatives, and we would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

I recently stayed at a lovely hotel near Carrutherstown called Hetland Hall. The family room suite was absolutely stunning, with a well-appointed and spacious bed that was perfect for my 12-year-old granddaughter and our dog. Despite being a dog-friendly room, it was in no way inferior. The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help us, especially the receptionist who greeted us upon arrival. She was a credit to the hotel. We also enjoyed the delicious food and found the grounds to be beautiful. we felt very welcome and would definitely return.

We had a great time during our city break at this hotel. The setting was absolutely stunning, with beautiful gardens and lush green lawns. Our room was bright and airy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a good selection, and the croissants were huge! We also loved that the hotel was currently undergoing a renovation, which made it feel even more luxurious.

There were a couple of issues that we experienced during our stay. The room could have been cleaned more thoroughly, as we found a personal item of clothing left behind by the previous occupiers.
