the room was spacious with twin beds, a modern TV, and tea/coffee making facilities. the large bathroom had a nice shower. the beds were very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. the hotel's breakfast options were excellent, offering a choice between continental or full English. the staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay enjoyable. it was a satisfying experience, especially being a part of the Signature Collection.

The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was spacious, warm, and spotlessly clean. The hotel's menu was not overwhelming, but the food was delicious and cooked to order. We especially enjoyed the comprehensive breakfast menu. The location of the hotel was perfect, with the River Tees just across the road and the old church, believed to be the inspiration for Lewis Carrol's grinning cat, to the left. Unfortunately, the church was locked when we visited, but it's definitely something unique to look forward to next time.

I recently stayed at The Croft Hotel for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The room was spacious with a lovely big bathroom, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We enjoyed a delicious evening meal, with generous portion sizes, and the breakfast in the morning was a satisfying full English. The staff were accommodating and promptly met all our requests, including providing a fan to keep the room cool during the hot weather. The location was great, and the bar prices were very reasonable.

A pleasant surprise! The Croft on Tees was a hidden gem that I stumbled upon during my last-minute search for accommodation. From the warm welcome at reception to the spotless room with a spacious ensuite, my stay was delightful. The newly refurbished rooms were excellent, and the delicious breakfast was the icing on the cake. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and was impressed by the beautiful modern room. The shower was so relaxing and the food was absolutely delicious, especially the bake camembert starter. The staff were incredibly helpful and made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for its great value for money.

the value for money was excellent, offering affordable prices that didn't break the bank. Secondly, the attention to detail was impressive, from the beautiful location near the river in the center of the village to the well-equipped rooms. I stayed in room 20, which had a very large comfy bed and was kept spotlessly clean by the housekeeping team. Lastly, the breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of choices that satisfied all my cravings in the morning.

On arrival, check-in at this hotel was efficient and smooth, allowing us to quickly settle into our spacious and comfortable room. The cleanliness of the entire hotel was impeccable, with everything looking fresh and brand new. We were particularly impressed with the large TV screen in the room that could be swiveled around to face the seating area, adding to the overall comfort and convenience. The hotel staff were friendly and professional, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Additionally, the location of this hotel by the riverside offered a beautiful and tranquil setting, perfect for a relaxing getaway.

We had a lovely romantic escape and enjoyed our stay at this hotel. the room was spotless and the bed was comfortable, providing us with a good night's sleep. the hotel's location was perfect as it was close to all the local attractions we wanted to visit. we loved the fact that we could enjoy a delicious English breakfast every morning.

We did have a few minor issues. the staff was inexperienced and it took a long time to be served at the bar.

The hotel is situated near the river, offering a picturesque view of the bridge over the River Tees. The location is also conveniently close to a beautiful church where Lewis Carrol wrote Alice in Wonderland.
