I recently stayed at a charming hotel in a bustling area near the shopping center. The room had a cozy atmosphere, and I was pleasantly surprised to find Yorkshire teabags waiting for me. Despite the noise from other rooms and the hallway lift, I managed to have a decent night's sleep. The young man who checked me in was very friendly and helpful, ensuring a smooth and pleasant check-in experience. And let's not forget the excellent location, just a short walk away from the town and the beach. I would highly recommend this hotel for its convenient location, friendly staff, and comfortable rooms.

Conveniently located near the train station, the rooms were comfortable and noise-free. The breakfast was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Will definitely consider staying here again in the future.

I had a fantastic stay at a centrally located hotel with a perfect location. The room was clean and comfortable, equipped with a TV and tea/coffee facilities. Despite being above a busy pub, I experienced no noise disruptions. The staff were extremely kind and understanding, especially when I fell ill during my stay. I would highly recommend this hotel for its great value and convenient amenities.

During our recent stay, we found the Black Lion to be conveniently located in the town centre, surrounded by plenty of other pubs and restaurants. We particularly enjoyed the nice sitting area out front, which was a real sun trap, and the spacious backyard where we could smoke/vape comfortably. Despite the basic and slightly tired rooms, the bed sheets and towels were spotlessly clean and of good quality. What stood out the most was the friendly atmosphere, with both staff and customers being welcoming and warm. If we ever decide to visit Scarborough again, we would definitely consider returning to the Black Lion.

The location of the hotel is perfect as it is very close to the main shopping area and the town centre. It is also conveniently located near plenty of eateries and pubs. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with comfortable beds for a good night's sleep. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The shower facilities are separate from the rooms but are clean and well-maintained.

The bathroom facilities are shared, which may not be ideal for some guests who prefer en-suite bathrooms.
