We had a great stay at a charming boutique hotel by the river. the attached restaurant served delicious pizza and Italian cuisine, and the bar was a nice place to relax. the bedroom was spacious, comfortable, and quiet. We were pleasantly surprised to find a kitchen with bread and cereals for breakfast.

The location of the hotel is superb, with many restaurants and bars just a short walk away. I loved strolling down the street after watching a show at the nearby theatre. The room I stayed in had a charming attic feel, with a quaint little window offering lovely views. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was a delightful surprise with a wide variety of options. The hotel also had a separate kitchen for guests to use, which was well-stocked and convenient.

I did notice that the bistro in the hotel seemed a bit far from the city center, making it a bit inconvenient on a Friday night when I wanted to explore more.

The hotel is conveniently located, just a short walk from the central bus station, making it easily accessible. The hotel is also situated in a lovely street, perfect for a relaxing walk home from the theatre. being right beside the river, guests can enjoy beautiful views. The rooms are comfortable with good bed comfort. The staff provides friendly service and the meal in the restaurant is of good quality.

The shower temperature can be a bit inconsistent at times.

The car park is right outside the front door, very convenient. The owner was so helpful and welcoming. The hotel dates back to 1724 and is fascinating. The room was warm, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the towels were big. TV worked fine. Wifi strong. There was a fully stocked kitchen for breakfast, you could help yourself to cereal and toast. The deck outside the kitchen had fantastic views over the river and city.

The steepness of the staircase, which could be a bit tricky to navigate, especially after having a few drinks. the dinner menu was not as advertised, offering basic pub food at inflated prices, which was a disappointment considering the expectations set by the hotel's bistro-like website.
